What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MIchigan. I would like a response from anyone but blue meanie because he is toxic. OK, Judge granted ex-wife house so child would not be disturbed, same judge awarded my husband custody of his son because of the mother's lifestyle- my lawyer says we can close on the money she owes my ex-husband because the child hasn't lived there in over a year and she has a three year live in boy-friend. Can we appeal this. Remember NO BLUE MEANIE. Thanks folks

I think you might just find you've alienated yourself from anyone who could help you...

Blue Meanie is one of the most respected advisers on this site - maybe you'd do well by reading more and not insulting her.

I don't know why you all feel she is the only one qualified to give advice. Sorry, I really didn't think this was a place you had to pledge. And thanks for you non-advice too lemming

You have already been told, by several seniors who have NOT been rude to you, that its doesn't look possible to us.

However, you have advise frin a local attorney that suggests that your husband CAN do so.

Its up to your husband who he believes...a local attorney or anonymous posters on an internet forum.

If your husband is uncertain, he might consult a couple of different local attorneys.

I'll respond -- YOUR lawyer? What does YOUR lawyer have to do with your husband's EX wife? Anything that she owes him would be HIS case and not yours. And if he never got the child support order modified that was his problem. And alimony may still be owed even with cohabitation.

So in synopsis, YOU have no dog in this fight; your husband's ex may not owe him anything; and I will wait for you to say how rude I am.

How many more threads do you plan to open with the same question? Do you think that if you ask it enough times, you'll get the answer you want?

Then again, maybe you will - since your story keeps changing a bit each time.

Drop the multiple threads, go back to the original thread, and add all the relevant facts and then wait for a response.

Sorry

Sorry I offended anyone. It really is my husbands battle not mine, I'll go back to minding my own business and wish you all well.
Sincerely,
