Can my husband who is Canadian, just received his vias, adopt my two children once he arrives here in the states? Their Dad has told the court thathe wished to release his rights and responsibilities and allow Paul to adopt them. Is their an issue that my husband is not a US citizen?

What is the visa - how long is he permitted to stay in the U.S.? If it's a permanent or long term visa, I agree with Isis.

I'm not so sure that's true if it's a short term visa.
