can't pay rent

because of circumstances the past couple of weeks i am in a financial bind and can't pay my rent tomorrow. can someone tell me what the laws are in texas? can i be evicted right away or am i okay if i can pay at least some now and some next week?

yep it's me "stenny" *laughing abt the dog kennel joke*
it's rent for my apt.
i won't see any money from terry's father until the beg of jan, my atty filed to have his wages garnished *mil retirement* and that will not go through until then, that is IF that man doesn't find a way out of that one, so that leaves my absolutely dry this month. i do have an income but since i am still in training it will not cove my rent this week.

also, and that is just thrown in even though it does not belong here,
he contacted a former buddy of ours *female* who he never had anything good to say abt, and asked her to write a statement against me saying that i am a terrible mother etc etc etc, he wants to try to gain sole custody over terry now.
