New Hampshire,
Last month, I bought a 10000$ car from a guy who had posted the information about the car on the craigslist website. I went to check out the car and bought it but he didn't tell me that the car was involved in an accident. I found that information when I checked the car's history. At that time, we had already paid for the car and when we tried to confront the guy, he didn't have any fear of the court and told us we can sue him anytime we want. However earlier, we didn't want to get involved in such court cases. Thus, I decided to sell that car to some other person by restricting the knowledge of the car's history to ourselves. However, he also found out the same and stopped the money transfer into our bank account. I felt bad when I didn't disclose the full information about the car to the second person. But now, the car and the money, both are in his hands. Any advice what shall I do ? Should I sue the first person or the second person and on what behalf ?
Thanks.
