What is the name of your state?tx
I have two questions:
1-I have 2004 year car that is about 6 months old now. I want to get its current value but most of the sites don't give current value for current year models and they list current value as someone would expect from a dealer. How to find out the current value of current year car? Can bk court accept CarMax appraisal value?

2-If filed ch7or ch13 in month and get student loan next month, would trustee like to keep any portion of it?

Thanks

You bought a car you could not afford, now you want to dump out of it. New cars depreciate by as much as 25-30% the minute you drive it off the dealer's lot. Take the car to a used car dealer and get a trade-in estimate for it, that would be sufficient.

No one can touch any part of a student loan except you, a Trustee cannot do anything at all.

In TX you can use NADA.com to get a value for your vehicle as well.
