What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

We have a car we do not use, it is just parked by the house and we pay insurance every month while trying to sell it. We wanted to take it off the insurance since we never use it. Is it legal to own unused car without insurance? Will there be a problem before we get to sell it?

If the car has tags, it must be insured. If you want someone to be able to test drive it, it needs to be insured. You can take the insurance off if you turn in the tags...but I wouldn't recommend it.

Read this forum for a while, XX took my car, I took it off the insurance because we never drive it, now he got in an accident and I owe $10000 for the person they hit....it's tempting fate.
