I am fighting two speeding tickets on separate dates and district courts. I have a clean driving record and have never had to do this before. What should I expect at the trial and I need a defense strategy. Both incidents took place in PA and along the same route (22). I just started a new job and commute an hour every day to and from work. The first incident took place at 7:30pm and it was raining and dark. The trooper clocked me at 86 in a 55 zone. The second incident took place on a Saturday evening at 5:30pm also along route 22. It was still light out and I was clocked by radar at 77 in a 55 zone. I can't afford the points because I have to commute to work everyday. Any advice for a defense would be appreciated.

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

My suggestion to you is this:

Read the entire traffic law section at the freeadvice.com homepage. There are a lot of good points, etc to bring up to fight these tickets.

And drive more slowly next time. : - )
