What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? az

unfortunately,,,back in 94, i got 2 dui,s , 2 months apart...the 2nd one was a felony, aggravated dui, driving on suspended lisc.....these were in my car coming home from parties....

i had felony esponged in 95

i quite drinking after 4 months in jail in 95,,just not worth it,,and i did not take my job serious, no thoughts for public safety on the highways, and exposing myself to big time legal problems..

anyhow,,i have been trying to drive again, but finding out that lot of companys will not touch me...the applications ask if you had dui,s....and they ask when, and when i put 2 down,,that slams the door shut on me...no matter how old they are....

i wanted to drive for may trucking out of oregon, and when i am honest with them about the 2 i had recieved years ago,,they stated only one. you would think there would be a time limit on it,,,allmost 17 yrs ago.

is there anything i can do, legally, about these 2 dui,s....i believe someone told me that they are on my record for good, and i am done driving

While driving records age out after a certain times, convictions of CRIMES (which DUIs are) live forever. Two DUIs is a permanent bar for a CDL, did you get yours reinstated? You're lucky you were in Arizona, most places aren't so gracious about expunging convictions.

there is nothing stopping me from getting a cdl,,,that is possible, i have to pay for truck driving school which is expensive...but finding a company to hire me is the hard part, due to insurance companys telling them who to hire in regard to the dui,,s...

if i try to get on of the dui,s set asside or vacated,,not sure if i have this right, will it then be taking off my criminal record, and will only show one dui to a prospective employer.
