What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IN

If a cell phone and contract is in my name and I make the payments do I have a right to see the contents saved on said phone?

Thanks. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I have the phone now.

It was given to my step-son when he was 17 and lived with his mother in CA. My husband was having a hard time contating him and his sister so I added another phone to my plan and he took it home with him. He now is 19 and lives with us in IN. There have been some issues and I have taken the phone back.

Then you no longer have an issue. If he wants complete privacy, he can get his own phone and pay his own bill.

Exactly!

Thank you so much!

So glad to be of service. One of the things I tell my children is that as long as they are under my roof, I own the air they breathe:D.

My kids have committed that to memory so there is no question about things ~ ever:)

I have a simular statement that has been said over and over. The 21 yr old has left to go to school and my 15 yr old is starting to get the hint. Hate to be that way but they just seem to think they are entitled to anything and everything these days.

Heck, I had a job at 16, worked full time since I was 17. Had my own car at 17 and went on a road trip to NYC from CA when I was 18 and graduated. My kids just seem content to sit around and wait for stuff to fall into their lap!!!

I say NO MORE!

:D
