I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but this deals with the purchase of a cemetery plot.
My mother purchased a plot for my father who recently passed away. The purchase was done quickly after he passed and the cemetery explained the dimensions of the what an allowable headstone would be. The invoice was written on a piece of paper and there was no written agreement.
Now that she wants to purchase a stone, the cemetary manager is giving her a hard time on what the dimensions can be (different from what first agreed). There was no contract or agreement stating what the acceptable dimensions are (the managerwho made the plot sale only showed examples of acceptable stones).
If there any legal right to put a stone that has the same dimensions as surrounding stones, which is merely what she wants to do?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
