When is a certificate of service included on a pleading and when is it not included on a pleading? This is in Texas.

My response:

A Certificate or Proof of Service is to be attached to all pleadings that are being filed with the court or merely served on the opposing party without being filed. But, all pleadings need a Certificate to show proof to the court that the "other side" received Notice of the pleading.
