What is the name of your state? OR
Have to redo our Ch 13 Forms I & J because we need a new used car.
Looking at our old forms I noticed that we did not list anything for Charitble donations or recreation. With 3 highschool teens in the family it is difficult to say no to their wanting to play sports or join clubs which we feel is necessary for their development into financially responsible citizens. Also a friend of mine told me he put down $200 a month for charitable donations becasue his season tickets to his college football games is considered a donation. And the referee went for it.
We have an adjusted income of aobut $5100 and expenses of about $4700, before recreation and donations. I think they refused us recreation and donations because it would have left nothing for our creditors.
I am thinking aobut adding $200 for the two this time and try to argue for it.
What do you think?

Both can and should be listed but the amount may be unacceptable to the referee/trustee. I've seen a recreation figure reduced by a trustee because he didn't think that someone filing a bk was in a position to be spending that much on recreation. The final figure was $60/mo for a family of 3.
