What is the name of your state?iowa

i have been told two things by two sources. when filing alone but am married do i need to include my wifes expenses and income or just mine and then just include the expenses that pay out of my income.

In many judicial districts, the US Trustee wants to see income and expense figures for both spouses in order to assess whether a ch. 13 plan would be feasible for the debtor. If so, there would likely be a 707(b) objection to a ch. 7 filing. Only a local bankruptcy attorney is going to know what the practice is in your area.
