I have tried to work out payments with CA instead they went and put a judgement against me. I am moving to another state and since they were not willing to work with me. I dont see any reason to give a forwarding adress to P.O. Is there any law that I have to volunteer were I am moving. Maybe now when I call them they might be more willing to work things out.

Finding you is easy. We find people everyday. I have access to databases that can tell me nextdoor neighbor's phone number of your second cousin twice removed. ... okay, perhaps slightly exagerated there -- but I hope the point is made.

If I have your name and an address from the last five years, I find you, your wife, your daughter and their addresses and SSNs, as well as yours. Finding you then is easy. Order pizza just once and I own you.

They'll find you too.

Just pay the judgment before it gets bigger. All you are doing is making it more expensive for yourself.

Like i said I tried to work things out according to my means. You are in business and you can see where just because they have judgement they want it all. It aint happening .My point is, they dont want to play then why should I make it easy for them.

Well what DC is trying to say is you won't make it any easier or harder for them. Your credit report will follow you, as soon as you register an address, or use your name for a job, or your SSN for something, it will be updated on your credit report and the new information added.

Since you owe them money, they can check your credit report any time they please to get this new information, plus they have the other means that DC spoke of to find you, so you will not stay hidden for long.

TY for replys My intention is not to hide from them or ignore them. My point is I tried to work things out and they did not work with me.. The way I look at it they thought they would get more results thru courts, okay good luck continue with courts. If they aint working with me then I wont work with them.

You don't have to work with them. Frankly, I think they no longer care what you want. You refused to work with them and they took you to court and got a judgment.

Now, everytime their lawyer thinks about your case, you get to pay for it. When they domesticate the judgment in the state you are moving to -- you get to pay for it. Every time they file something with the court regarding your case -- you get to pay for it. This isn't collections any more. Now they can add all of their costs to your debt and you get to not only pay for it, but also pay interest on it.

Some judgment owners will just sit on it for a couple of years and allow that interest to grow and multiply. They have wonderful dreams of all those little interest dollars running around producing more little interest dollars for them.

Then when you not expecting it: Pow. You checking account is cleaned out. Your wages are garnished and your daughter's condo is being sold.

See, you don't hold any cards anymore. They have you by the short and curlies. It is time to realize that.
