What is the name of your state?California. mom want's to change will to remove a brother from receiving a share of monies when she passes , he shares no responsibility for her (she's disabled) the other 4 of us all take turns on weekends( I understand that I cannot obligate anyone to do this) however, he see's her maybe every 3 months (lives in same city) and when he does go visit talks about myself and another sister, who lives 4 hours away and comes down to do her weekend w/mom every 4 weeks. Would it be a right remove another brother who has been living rent free for over a year at her house (she receives $711. from SSI) and brings his kids every other weekend to stay with him there. He is selfish and see's nothing wrong with him not paying rent.

Does mom have any dementia? Are you going to petition for conservatorship over her?
