I live in NJ my wife and I seperated and she took off to Florida for two years I had no idea where my daughters were, although I continued to pay child support the child support dept said they did not have to give me the new address. After a long search I have located them and started legal proceedings for vistitation I have started a new relationship with my daughters who are 7 and 4. Our 7 year old has her mothers last name for we were not married at the time our 4 year old has my last name because we had gotten married. My wife (soon to be ex-wife) (papers waiting to be filed after the visitation hearing on May 9th 2001.) has informed me that since she move to Florida she has been using her maiden name and has been using that name for our 4 year old she has told me she plans to change her name and I can do nothing about this, is this true?????
