changing Tax withholding just before filing

What is the name of your state?tescus
Just couple weeks before filing, can I change exemptions so that less tax is deducted? Is it better to change it now or after filing? I want to do it because my tax refund is going to be higher and I don't want to loose that moeny.

Legally you can only claim the number of exemptions you are allowed to claim.

I am already taking less exemptions so that more tax is withheld. But, in my current situation I want to increase the number of exemptions so that less tax is withheld. For example if my total exemptions are 4 and I am currently expmting 2, then, now I want to make it 4.
