Changing XBOX logo on top of XBOX!

I im wondering if i change the jewels on top of the xbox that are labeled XBOX and make my own saying whatever i want and sell them and install them on xboxes if this is ilegal. Also adding custom lights.. I am not modding it for ilegal game piracy just simply looks and resale!! Thanks

I'm not sure what the exact law is, but I do know that somebody is already doing it. Probably not where you are, so you probably don't have to worry about the competition. I saw it on MTV awhile back. A guy tricked out an XBOX, and charged like $300 for it.

I don't see what XBOX could do about this. Kind of like companies tricking out cars with after market parts and then selling them for a lot more.

I just heard about some people in my state doing that. They were doing something with laser type or neon lights and they had a gaming room. They didn't change the box program just the looks, but I was told that they were sent a cease and desist and notice of a suit. I thought it sounded bizarre since they weren't accused of pirating, but who knows?
