What is the name of your state? MI

From what I understand about a chapter 13 bankruptcy is that you work out a 3-5 year plan to repay debts. But I am unclear as to whether that means unsecured debts or all debts? I would think that it would be virtually impossible to pay off a mortgage in that amount of time. What happens to the secured debt after the chapter 13 plan is complete?

If you are behind on your mortgage you will include the arrears on your chapter 13. The way mine works is that I make my regular house payment through the trustee. Once the bankruptcy is over, it will be up to me to continue making house payments. The actual terms of my mortgage did not change.
