A forman for our company has a company truck. All repairs and tolls are paid for buy the company. All is needed to be supplied is the gas. We ride about 130 miles round trip a day. He charges in man $20 a week for gas. We have 5 to 8 men riding each week. Today he wouldn't let anyone ride into work with him. When I refused to get out of the truck he physicaly assluted me with his hands, then an umbrella. Not resolved he took out a knife a slashed the tire. So I then got out, got a ride back to my car and took it to work. Do I have any legal recourse?

Sounds like he committed a criminal assault and battery on you. That is civilly actionable, assuming he has any money. You possibly could drag the employer into the mess too foir the foreman's actions. What that would get you I can't say, maybe fired....

Immediately contact a labor law attorney near you. He or she can help prevent your termination or other disciplinary actions if they are being contemplated by the company. You can find one near you at attorneypages
