I filed for divorce in South Carolina, my soon to be ex told me to hire a lawyer and he would agree to use the same lawyer to save on legal fees.. we made an agreement and had it file with the courts, got a court date and the day before the divorce he charged me with adultry... we had been seperated for a year and a half, he's had a live in since a week after I moved out.. now I'm screwed and don't know where to go from here... I have a 13 yr old daughter who lives with me and I can't make it financially on $117.00 a week.. we were married 20 yrs and I never worked until now. My lawyer isn't helping me here at all... I need advise on where to go from here.... Is there any help for me?
