Yeah, that could very well be the case. A plea bargin which he's jailed right away. We may never know. I've just been curious about what happened at yesterdays appointment.:o

The public defender wants to motion for dismissal. Considering the sheer amount of times she contacted me, and the witness testimony where she stated she had dropped the order of protection -- she's of the opinion that this is a vindictive and retaliatory attempt to tarnish my clean record because I broke up with her.

Another interesting thing to note is that I was at my usual AA clubhouse and next door is a popular cafe. I was drinking coffee and reading my big book when I asked a young man for a lighter. We got into a conversation about music, recording, software, etc. then the conversation moved to women, then to relationships. As I'm telling him my story he gets a funny look on his face. He then says, "What'd you say her name was?".. I reply, his immediate response, "I know her, yea, I've slept with her, actually, a couple of my friends have slept with her..whoa this is weird... she really made you out to be a douche bag but you seem like a real pleasant guy." At that point I realized where I'd heard his name before.

He then goes on to tell me she was just recently fired from her hospital job for sexual misconduct (apparently they don't like it when their staff is caught giving patients BJ's). She's facing losing her license and civil charges now on that matter as well.

Karma sucks.

Seems like things are turing in your favor! GOOD! She sounds like a real winner, now just let her make the mistakes in court. She'll probable open her mouth and put her foot into it. Only answer questions from the judge and don't try to contradict her, let your attorney do that for you. Oh and no facial expressions either judges hate that. Just a little advice to think about. I wish you the best of luck, keep me posted on the out come. :)

Wow,

I just read all of these posts!!!!

First of all I think (and I'm not a lawyer, but I do have a background in law, in Australia), you'll probably get a good dressing down by the judge on a very stupid mistake. (which you are all too aware of by now). But I think you'll be alright, and seeing as you have nothing to hide, and providing you ARE being honest, you should be ok. Regardless of weather or not this is on your record, an OP although looks kinda bad, they're given out like candy to kids at a brithday party, I mean **** I could get one for my neighbour whom has talked **** to me, it's all about convincing a judge that you are worried about another person "hurting" you. Anyway you seem to have all your bases covered, and have been very smart in getting off the booze and drugs and I'm in your corner on that one, I've been through it and it's not easy. So good on you.

Karma is a funny thing it will always come back and bite someone in the ass!!! It will also reward those who do good.... hence you getting off drugs and being honest through out this whole ordeal.

Also I'd like to say that some of the people who have posted replies to this subject, have been very hartless and very rude at times..... a man is asking for help not insults... I mean come on rubbing salt into an open wound, he knew he'd messed up and you should leave him alone.

I'm hoping everything turns/turned out well for you and hope you keep us all posted! :D
