My husband was arrested and his bond was revoked because of new charges that were filed against him. The D.A. dropped the charges and we requested that his bond be reinstated. Thd judge set the matter over for another date. Since the charges were dismissed shouldn't he have had his bond reinstated and released from jail?

This was already answered, but since he was arrested for bail violations, revoking his bond and incarceration effectively take care of that issue, thus the charges dismissed once he was in jail. Anything further will be heard at the hearing.
