I have a sixteen year old step daughter who just had a baby in November, my husbands exwife has custody of the baby, my problem is, three weeks ago we found out that my step daughter was pregnant again with twins, but, lost the babies. She was impregnated by the same person who is in the age rage of 22-25 years of age. Mother approves of her seeing this person. When we said we wanted to file charges on him, exwife freaked out and we lost all contact with her until about a week or so ago when she asked us to send some money to her. My husband is paying his childsupport to her but we feel the child is not being taken care of. Her mother has three younger children to take care of. How hard would it be for us to seek custody of her and the baby. We have learned that his exwife's new husband is currently going to be incarcarated for DUIs, exwife does not work and really does not have a place to live. Should we seek custody of both the step daughter and her baby or should we just let thing be. In the state of Texas where she lives a female is legal at age 17, we live in Florida.
Any suggestions
