What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OH/PA

My son took a trip to PA with his paternal grandma. I don't know the details of what happened there but grandma was arrested and charged with child endangerment because she was driving erratically with my son. She said she had a concussion but a nurse called me from the hospital that the police took her too and said that she had my son there because his grandma appeared to be on drugs and wanted to make sure that she could release my son to his cousin. Grandma text me one day and told me that she was not allowed to see my son for 2 years because he was the victim. A week later she text back and said that her lawyer got that decision overturned. I am obviously not getting the whole story and was wondering if since my son was the victim in the case, is there someone I can contact to find out what really happened? She also told me a couple days ago that her probation officer was not happy that she is allowed to see my son now. I would really like to know the whole story so I know if I should keep contact supervised or even allow it at all. There is no custody order. His dad and I probably have the best co parenting ever, but he and his mom are not on good terms, so his contact with her didn't involve his dad.

In what county was the hospital located? Have you checked online dockets in that county? You don't have to allow Grandma to see your child at all unless there is a court order stating that she must.

I would err on the side of caution and not allow her around the child at all except perhaps a rare, supervised visit.

I believe it was Jefferson County. I can't find anything online. Is there someone I could call to get info?
