What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
I'm deciding whether to hire a neighbor boy (13 yrs old) to trim my horse's hooves. he is supposedly the youngest person to finish farrier school. i hear he's quite good. however; i have reservations because of his age. are there special liability issues if he were injured? my horse has never kicked a farrier; but, horses can be unpredictable. would i be in deeper manure than if an adult were injured? my horse is kept on my property and i do have homeowner's insurance, but don't know the fine print involving child injury. thanks much.
