In Durant, Oklahoma. Judge Hatch ordered that my ex-wife remain "custodial parent" of our 16 yr. old son, but the child is to continue living with his grandmother. ( his mother left him there so she could move in with her lover ). I wanted the court to change the support to go to the grandmother who he has lived with for three years. The judge said "no" and that the support was to continue to go to the mother even though the child lives an hour and a half away. My lawyer and I are floored...my son is happy living with his grandmother, but they have a hard time paying their own phone bill since his grandfather passed away. Is there anything more I can do? I thought support went to whoever the child was living with.
