What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia

Hello. I need advice regarding child support. I am a father, paying child support for my daughter in Florida. My daughter and her mother moved from New Jersey to Florida and moved the child support case from NJ to FL as well. I live in Georgia.
For the first month or two, Florida kept returning my child support payments. No reason specified, the envelope unopened, just sent back. So I kept paying NJ as they had not closed the case and they actually got the money to my ex.
After those first couple of months, Florida finally cleaned up their act and started taking the checks. However, they kept a tally of all the payments I "missed" while paying NJ (every payment I sent to NJ was counted as missed, I never actually missed a payment) and were sending me letters stating that I needed to pay, "or else".
Now that I have started paying FL (have been for the last 6 months or so, again, no missed payments) I am getting those same letters from NJ *AND* FL. FL is demanding the payments "missed" still and NJ is demanding payments "missed" since I've started paying FL (confused yet?). I have contacted both states and followed all their requests, including getting a payment history from NJ, which I faxed to FL at their request.
FL supposedly contacted NJ to close the case there but today I received a letter from NJ stating that if I didn't pay up, they'd "have no choice but to aggressively pursue legal action." I called FL the day after faxing over the payment history and they confirmed that they DID receive it. To make matters worse, I also got a "pay up or 'we will have no choice but to pursue aggressive legal action.'" letter from FL yesterday.
I called FL about it and they stated that they never received my fax. So I'm faxing them again and sending the hard copy via UPS with signature required since they REFUSE to give me a name of a person I can talk to. Every time I call FL, they tell me that I need to talk to their compliance dept but can't give me a name or a number to call, only a fax or address.
I need help quick. They're only giving me a week to get all this squared away but I've already done everything they've asked. In addition to my daughter in FL, I have three boys with my wife here in GA and cannot afford to have my DL suspended, get arrested, have my wages garnished (for money I don't owe and that I'd never see again if they did that). I can't take the time off right now to drive down to FL and try to *find* someone to talk to because I just started a new job and don't have time off built up yet.
Please help. Any advice, any at all would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you to anyone and everyone in advance.

You can try getting a phone consult with a Fl attorney. Call the FL Bar Lawyer Refferal Service at 1-800-342-8011. The consult should cost around $25 and most attorneys will give a consult over the phone.

See if you can get a listing of how much was paid to Florida and New Jersey. Match it up against how much should have been paid. You will need to detail this information to both New Jersey and Florida.

Florida is notorious for messing up these orders. My boss' order was originally from Ohio. it was transfer to Florida. If he wouldn't have brought the paperwork in to me, I wouldn't have sent anything to Florida cuz I NEVER received the paperwork on it from Florida. Happened on other employees too.

Thank you both for your help. I'll be calling the Bar Association tomorrow as well as the Child Support Unit to request a payment history. I have the New Jersey payment history so I'll be able to compare the two. Thanks again! Of course, any additional advice is always welcome.

Also, would a GA attorney be acceptable? I've gotten a few numbers from friends but only for GA attorneys.

Dude, don't add any more states to this mess. Besides, Georgia has no jurisdiction. New Jersey has standing because that was where it started. Florida has standing cuz that is where the child is.
