What is the name of your state? Missouri

If a cs order has been established (filed in August), can the fact that the child will be placed in daycare change the amount of cs ordered?
CSE told me that the cs cannot be modified at this point. Thanks.

Tell CSE to suck a lemon.

THEY can't modify it right now. The COURT can. You can always file to have it modified to include child care thru the courts. CSE just can't modify for 3 years. Period. No matter what the circumstances are. But that does not mean you can't go through the court to get it done.

LOL!

Thanks MG- I called my attorney already and asked him to see if he could get it modified, hope to find out soon.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

Hope he can get it done. I'm not saying that the courts WILL do it, don't get me wrong. But it "can" be modified to include child care no matter how long or short it's been.

I really loathe Missouri CSE. Especially a certain caseworker in Memphis. LOL Does it show??

Christmas went about as good as could be expected I guess. I called my kids and talked to them. CJ called his girls and his ex actually let them come to the phone. She's "supposed" to bring them here Sunday so he can give them their Christmas gifts. Of course, she said, "If he can PROVE to me that he has presents for the girls, I'll meet him somewhere and he can give them to them." Forget that he was denied court ordered Christmas overnight visitation. Forget that she denies him every weekend for court ordered over night visitation. He has to meet her in a "public place" if he wants to see his girls. And he sees them for a total of 30 minutes each time. But that's what it takes to see them, WHEN she agrees to it, and that's what he does. Ah well, NEXT Christmas will be a lot different, I hope. :D

He doesn't have to prove he bought them anything! The time he spends with them is more important than some toy or doll.

Chris didn't buy our daughter anything...well let me say that he didn't bring it to the visit yesterday, whether he bought something or not i don't know...but i still took her this week for a couple extra hours to spend with him. I would have taken her more, but his mother told me that he couldn't afford more than 4 hours this week ($25 per hour = $100 this week alone).

I wasn't able to get my kids very much this christmas, but they know that i love them and that's all that matters.
