What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ma, but the suport order is out of Ohio.

I have a relative who currently has an order for support but just for medical. He claims that the order was issued due to a parternity test to verify that he was the biological father. He also claims that the mother of the child informed him that she told the DOR that she would like to terminate the support order but the DOR of ohio won't let her due to a paternity test being taken. The real question would be is there any relieve that the father can seek in having the support order terminated? This is open to discussion and I know that people will probably need more information so I will answer responses as they come.

You'd honestly be better off asking Dad to come register - it's commendable that you're being a good friend and trying to help him, but dealing with third parties can get tricky, and he's really the only one with the details we might need, y'know?

In the meantime...

Were Mom and Dad married?

Has Mom ever been (or is she currently) on welfare of any type?
