I have two children, ages 3 and 4 months. They have both been going to this Dr.'s office since birth. Their policy when needing to schedule an appt. for a sick child is that the nurse will call back. On 3 seperate occasions now it takes HOURS to get a return phonecall. The first occasion, my youngest was sick, i waited and waited for a call back, after 3 hours I called them back, they said they are returning calls in the order they come in. TWO DAYS later they call me saying how is "Baby", we apologize apparetly we had a wrong number for you. I was LIVID!!! The next occasion was with my youngest again, and it took 3 1/2 hours to get a phone call back, I let that go.....then this last occasion which was last week, both my children had been to the dr. once, no tests ran " Its a virus" ( its always a virus), the next day I found out they were exposed to H1NI flu at daycare, so I called to get them back in for testing, after 4 hours of waiting for a phone call my husband calls them back ferious at this point, they said sorry our call volume is high, please be patient!! THey call back after they are closed, and said we can get them in the following day!!! So we decided we are fed up with this "policy", and want to switch dr.'s. We fill out proper form to have records forwarded to new dr., they tell us will take up to 60 days ( Ridiculous ), now a week later they tell us they are going to charge us to transfer these records....finally my question is Why do I have to pay for my childrens records, Aren't they rightfully mine???? Someone please give me some feedback, and thank you for taking the time to read this long post!!!
