I am in charge of the Media Ministry at my Church in Tennessee. I record the Morning worship services, special singings, and other special events and then edit them and put them on DVD. Can someone please give me any legal advice that would pretain to doing this such as song copyright (The church has a CCLI number), permision from the people being recorded, etc... The DVD's are available to anyone for a $2 donation to cover the cost of materials. There is no profit for this.

I am considering going to to business for myself also. I would be recording special events such as Weddings, Graduations, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, etc... Please tell me all I will need to know about the legalities of this.

Thanks ahead of time for your help!

Mike
