I want to apply for citizenship. I've been a permanent resident since 1995 with clean record so am eligible. However, my eldest son aged out of our green card application years ago and is still undocumented. He also has a drug conviction . I have to list my children on the n-400 application. Will my sons illegal status affect my application?

Your child does not affect you.

You need to engage an attorney for your son. Drug convictions are serious.
