I am 64 y.o ex federal employee. I have a reprisal and discrimination complaint that I am appealing to the Federal Operations EEOC. I received a formal written counseling from my immediate supervisor for failing to fill out and turn in a leave request form for a daY off I wanted to take. I did fill the form, had it approved and signed by my supervisor. The second part of the counseling warned me about making threats to my supervisor and my 2nd line supervisor, thatI did not want to participate in a ruse to switch forms that our clinic used. The ruse was directed to inspectors of the hospital who give accridation to the hospital. I told my two supervisors that I was going to have to inform the inspectors. My two supervisors had a meeting with several other key personnel in the hospital and it was decided to confiscate the keys to the clinic and to limit my access. Due to fear of further reprisal, I decided not to inform the inspectors. During this period I was threanted witha transfer to another clinic that would addanother 30-50 miles around trip of travel time. I was eventuaslly sent to another clinic within the same building. Due to further harrassment at the other clinic I decided to retire, which I did on 30 oct 2004. Should I wait for the Federal Operations to issue a judgement, or should I file a civil complaint. Since approx 5 people discussed and decided to take my keys for making that threat: could this be considered a conspiracy to deprive me of free speech?
