What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington State
while in prison my civil rights were violated by the dept of corrections for about 21 years. I suffered greatly by there actions and suffer still. My case was taken by the Gonzaga Law Center and they did indepth research for me and told me that I indeed had a good case for civil rights violations, but that they would be unable to get any monitary damages for me, as they were a collage. But they felt that they could win the case and change the policy of the dept. of corr. division wide. I decided to not take the case to the courts and just wait for my release and then seek legal help. All of the research done by Gonzaga is with me and I think that this research will save a huge amount of time. I have always filed all of the appeals and followed up to insure that my case would not be time bared. As I was recently released from prison I have no funds to pay up front for an attornet, but am willing to give up 50% of the award. Not only was my rights violated, but according to the law, all of my family also suffered and could recieve damages as well. The research team at Gonzaga said that they felt that this may be an A.D.A. case, but I am not sure if that is the way to go. I have alot of evidence in support of my claim's, and need help to settle this case. I truly believe that the dept. would be happy to settle this out of the court because it would cost them millions more to change there policy division wide. Please contact me if you are able to help with my case. Thank You.
