Closing process

What is the name of your state?IL We refinanced our home and should be closing early next week....what can I do or not do to make sure the process goes smoothly---I've heard several horror stories about closings falling through at the last minute....this has been such a stressful process and thank you for all of your advice

Request a copy of the HUD-1 Settlement Statement 24 hours before the closing. Review it and you can eliminate last minute surprises.
