Im in CA. Last year i wasn't living in my registered address. I waa getting ready to move in with my fiance. Sadly from late oct-dec 24 my life was spent by his death bed in a hospital. At firsr I would commute to work every day eventually i took leave. But during my way to work i was stopped by sheriff. To be completly honest i had no clue what he said. He was polite. And I did sign the ticket and continued on my way...now almost 7 months later I'm back in my old apt where my parents live and rearranging my life and i see this notice of suspension. My license is suspended. I've never even been pulled over before. Any advice on what to do? Or where to seek assistance? As u can imagine getting around is a must here in LA and financially im reestablishing myself. I'm sleepless every night wondering what i can do. Thank you in advance

Go to the court and inquire how to pay (it may be in collections now). You'll pay the fine and the FTA fee. Once you pay also get an abstract for the DMV ($10) sent. Then go to the DMV and pay the reinstatement fee. Don't drive until you've completed all this.
