What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Nevada

What are my options if coca cola gave me Helicobacter Pylori, Chronic gastritis, a stomach ulcer and erosive esophagus? I believe they should have warming labels on their cans; I feel as if I am in the same boat as the people that sued the cigarette companies. And one more thing, I AM 20 YEARS OLD, these problems normally exist for senior citizens. Soda; specifically Coca Cola; is a VERY dangerous substance. It very easily causes multiple kinds of cancers and it's about time the public knows. But to make it short I would like to know if anyone has sued coca cola or a similar reason and if you believe they are responsible for my medical bills because they're are at fault and there is no possible way I will ever be able to pay. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

so, you can prove the Coke you drank was contaminated with H. pylori?

If so, you might have a case. Other than that, quit drinking so much soda.

You might want to reconsider your claims. Unless you have proof, they are defamatory and you might find yourself the one being sued.

I want to know what a warming label is, and whether or not drinking the Coke warm would have prevented all of these issues.

Take all of your medical records to a med-mal attorney who will review them.

S/he will advise if you have a case worth pursuing.

The OP should sue the idiot who plugged his nose, held his mouth open and made him swallow the "toxic" substance.

Can the bartender please serve me a rum and coke please:D

It's estimated that half the worlds population carries H. Pylori in their stomach; luckily only a relative few go on to have gastric issues with this.

For what it's worth, I developed my duodenal ulcer when I was 12 years old (and no, it wasn't caused by drinking Coca Cola). Peptic ulcer disease isn't unusual in young folks.

Coke causing cancer? If so, most of us would be dead from cancer.

Were you drinking the concentrated syrup by the barrel?

Hundreds of millions if not billions of people around the world regularly drink Coke and none of this happens to them. What makes you so special? And why is that Coke's fault? None of these things you supposedly have develop overnight. Did you not seek medical attention once symptoms started?

I think he is confusing his instructions from his doctor that HE should no longer drink Coke because of his condition, that it may cause an exacerbation of HIS symptoms, with a general statement that Coke CAUSED his condition or could cause it to anyone who drinks it.

If you can't pay your medical bills, you need to apply for Medicaid or financial assistance from the providers who treated you. You are not going to get Coke to pay your bills or pay you anything.
