i won a civil judgement and the court is docking the pay of the defendant. how long will it take before i see some cash?

A: It should be shortly after the return date you put on the documents executing on this judgment.

The court is docking the pay of the defendant? Did you file to have that done? If not, you may want to double check to make sure they are doing the wage garnishment. I know that in Michigan, where I previously lived / worked, the plaintiff had to file a motion to have wages garnished.

wage garnishment

i did file a motion to do this and it was granted and is now being executed by the court.
