What is the name of your state? NY

I've been having this debt of nearly $1000 usd to at&t wireless. How ever it was a malicious error by at&t and they refused to fix. I will not pay it because it was a breach of their contract. I was getting charged for roaming even though I was making local calls from a local area covered in their contract. This was about 6 to 7 years ago. This debt has been going back and forth to various agencies. I dont know if it will ever stop.

This new agencies has taken on the task. I have 30 days to respond to typical letter. Does any one have a good sample of a stern letter I could write that also includes them not reporting me to any credit card agencies. What is the name of your state?

At the risk of stating the obvious, if this has been bouncing around CAs "about 6-7 years", why not confirm the true date of default and see if the 6-year SOL has run?
