I am in Texas.

I have two adjacent pieces of property (1ac and 3ac) which I purchased at different times (in the course of 20yrs or so).

How does one go about combining the two into one piece of property?

**A: why would you want to do that called consolidation? Are you planning on a real estate development project?

"Why", is a good question. I think.:)

I live there, and we utilize both properties. The original 1ac has the house, most outbuildings and has the homestead exemption. Consolidating, I am looking to have the homestead exemption cover the whole property.

**A: then that's a good reason.
