my boyfriend & i have been living together for over a year. we have both been through 2 bad marriages but have a wonderful relationship together. i'm concerned how long we can live together before we are considered "commom law married". do you know what the timeframe for this is in Louisiana? thanks!

My response:

You could live with him for 100 years, and never be married to him - - because Louisiana is not a common law marriage State.
