I need advise on common laaw marriage in MA. I have lived with a man for 8 years, and have a 4 year old child. I also have 3 older childen from previous marriage.
He has recently started seeing someone, has informed me he wants out of relationship. HE has had this person in our home, I even hve a video of them, which he stupidly made and left for me to find. The house is in his name. I want to stay at least through the end of the school year. He says he will leave but in the next breath he wants me to leave. He says he will give me $1400 per month- he makes apprx 125K before tax.
I am a stay at home mom, so I would have no income other than a small child -support amount for 3 older children. What are my rights? Can he make me leave the home?

MA does not have the Common Law Marriage Statute. I suggest you seek out an attorney to define exactly what you may be entilited to.
