Florida--My father has lived with the same woman for over 20 years, and in the same apartment/condo for the last 17 years. He purchased a car 3 months ago with cash. She insisted the car be put in her name. He also partially refurnished the apartment within the last 6 months. 3 days ago she changed the locks on the apartment/condo and put him out. He is now in NY with almost no money and nothing more than a suitcase. He has contributed to the relationship financially all along either by employment or Social Security. As they had been together so long doesn't he have rights to half of what is there? What rights does he have?
