My collegue, who I believe may share inventorship, won't communicate with me at this point because of jealousy. They are probably going to file a patent on their own claiming credit possibly beginning with a provisional application.

How should I proceed if my collegue refuses to cooperate with me in figuring out the details of proper inventorship?

In the future, please post under your original post -- it makes it easier to see everything together.

If you can't deal with the other guy, you may want to talk with a patent attorney to discuss your options.
