What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Kentucky
I was furloughed from an airline in May of this year. The company still owes me per diem pay, vacation pay and training pay. I knew they were having some financial problems, so I tried to give them time to pay me on their own. However, now they will not answer my inquiries into this matter. What recourse do I have to make them pay what's owed to me? What do I have to do to take them to small claims court?

Your first step is to contact KY's Department of Labor and file a complaint for the wages you are due. FYI, KY State reg's don't mandate the payout of vacation pay upon termination. They only require that an employer consistently apply their policy if their policy calls for earned but unused vacation to be paid upon separation.
