What is the name of your state?NC
How do you compute the SOL. Equifax reports the debt as follows:
Items as of Date Reported: 8/02
Date of Last Activity: 6/00
Transunion lists:
Updated: 8/02
Closed: 2/01
Status as of 8/02
I have research the SOL for NC & think it is 3 years. Any help on this would also be appreciated.
I'm confused as to what to base the SOL on. I thought it was from date of last activity on the account which would be 6/00. Please help. Also, I sent the CA validation letter CMRRR & just received the green card back. What should I do next? Thanks for the assistance.

The SOL will run out 3 years after you defaulted. If that was in 2000, the SOL is long gone.

Good on the validation letter sent CMRRR. Now, send a dispute letter to all of the applicable credit bureaus disputing this account as "not mine." This will put the collection agency on a 30 day time line.
