What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? pa - my condo association board is suing 2 of our condo owners for not paying fines. they did not make any of the homeowners aware of this and they are using our condo dues to pay lawyers. i do not feel they will win one of the cases. is it legal for them to sue without consent from the other condo owners?

Please read your condo documents for knowledge about what your Association can and can not do. The Association has a responsibility to maintain, protect, and enforce the R and C's within the Association. The documents will also tell you the procedures and processes the Association uses to fulfil their responsibility. You might want to address the Board with your concerns, but you must also understand, that due to the nature of the issue, details may not be able to be discussed in open session---and, will take place in "executive" session---although the vote will be in open session.
