What is the name of your state? IL-CHICAGO
I live in a high-rise condo and our condo association is starting to make frivious rules which is really starting to aggitate me
The newest rule is that the people that park in their garage spots have
to now carry a tag at hang it in the window and if its not shown the
car will be towed. Currently each unit OWNES the spots and its in my
deed. The spots are not leased or anything like that. I paid the developer 30k for the spot. . I don't think the parking spot is common element.
My question is, i don't intend on putting up this tag since 1st. I
already have one for my work garage and i dont' want to have to switch
it every time i come home to the SPOT I OWN. what are the laws against
this. I've lived in over 6condos in chicago during my years and never
had to do this. If they tow my car without my permission what can i
do.??
I know your thinking just put the tag and deal with it. . But
with all the stupid rules they have beeen coming up with i have to put
my foot down and i think this rule doesn't have any legal baring to it!
