What is the name of your state? Florida
My apartment complex has just sent "notice of intent to convert" to all the residents. My lease initially expired on July 31, 2005 but they verbally extended it to August 31, 2005 and have accepted my rent for the month of August. Since my lease was extended one extra month do I still have the ability to notify the new owners my intent to stay the 270 days as allowed in Florida statute 718.606?
